THOUGHTS
My family are together.
I feel like odd man out.
They understand each other
But it makes me want to shout—
Open your minds!
Get out of your rut!
Think more deeply!
Think with your gut!
My voice stays silent
Because they will not hear.
Their minds are closed to me
Long year after year.
